Gifts in Kind International

The High Plains RC&D Council has received a truckload of Tempur-Pedic mattresses for donation in the region. We have queen size and twin size mattress tops available. These are the real 8” to 10”  Tempur-Pedic foam mattresses.  There are no box springs or frames with these. In order to share the shipping and handling fees we are asking some of our partnering non-profits to help offset our costs. Eligible recipients include those who are needy, youth or those with health care problems. Attached is an application for a mattress donation. For more information you may call the RC&D Office.

The High Plains RC&D partners with Gifts in Kind International to provide goods through the RC&D’s Great Gifts Program. Gifts in Kind International is the world’s leading non-profit charity in product philanthropy. It partners with business and non-profits to provide products and services to communities around the world. For more information on Gifts in Kind International go to http://www.giftsinkind.org

Through Gifts in Kind Retail Donation Program, the RC&D partners with local businesses like Home Depot, Office Depot, Talbot’s, Bed, Bath and Beyond to receive new product donations. The RC&D makes these donations available to those organizations in the area that can match them with their needs.

Since 2004, the RC&D has received and distributed almost $340,000 worth of goods to our Great Gifts program sponsors in the 15 county area through the Gifts in Kind Retail Donation Program. Additionally, it has distributed over 1600 Dell Printers worth $237,000 to schools and non-profit organizations through the Dell Printer Program. These printers are free to eligible schools and non-profit organizations.

Other products are available by the carton, pallet or truckload.
For more information on any of these goods or to become a Great Gifts sponsor, call the High Plains RC&D office at 806-250-2020 or email hprcd@wtrt.net.
